Rob is a former Welsh rugby international who achieved tremendous success over a distinguished 17-year playing career. From a young age, Rob showcased his sporting talent, excelling in both cricket and rugby as a schoolboy international. At just 17 years old, while still in school, he was invited to join Swansea Rugby Club, marking the start of his senior rugby career.

During his career, Rob represented prestigious teams such as the British Lions, Barbarians, and several other representative clubs. His contribution to the game was recognised in 1996, when he was awarded an MBE for his outstanding services to rugby.
After retiring from professional rugby, Rob transitioned into coaching with the Llanelli Scarlets regional team, where he continued to share his wealth of knowledge and experience. In addition to his coaching role, Rob has enjoyed a successful media career with the BBC and S4C, the Welsh language TV channel, further cementing his place as a respected figure in Welsh rugby.
